RateGenius Insurance Agency, Inc. (RGIA) was founded as a wholly-owned subsidiary of RateGenius, Inc. We underwrite insurance policies through Safeco, Progressive, The Hartford, Travelers, Encompass, and Infinity.

Our parent company, RateGenius, Inc. (a.k.a. RateGenius Loan Services, Inc.) is a multi-state, web-based loan brokerage company, specializing in automotive refinance loans. RateGenius Insurance Agency was created and maintains proper licensing to sell supplementary auto-related insurance products that complement our refinance customers' new auto loan, in addition to other property and casualty insurance products.

Both companies are based in Austin, Texas, with an Internet presence to conduct business in 46 states. RateGenius, Inc. was incorporated in 1999, and RateGenius Insurance Agency followed shortly thereafter in 2002. Both companies are members of the Better Business Bureau.
